The Platinum team is tasked with a highly selective job. Unbeknownst to many, most people aren’t able to participate in this particular photovoltaics program. Hundreds of hours and much analysis goes into the hand selection of homeowners who may be able to participate. 

Once the possible participants have been identified by our engineering teams, we are tasked with the field analysis work. Our due diligence includes putting eyes on the property to confirm the validity of our engineers remote work. 

After it has been determined that we are working with a viable home, we begin working with the homeowners. Exacting satellite imagery is obtained and further analyzed to establish the irradiance factors of the roof. Obstructions, roofing material, and many other factors are taken into consideration before reviewing the results with each homeowner independently.

Each utility district has their own nuances. Because our agreements are so homeowner friendly, the onus is on us to ensure all criteria are met before proceeding. In fact, we are interviewing as much as being interviewed.

This fact finding mission includes many facets, but at the end of the day results in only one question…. Does this make sense financially for our prospective clients. It is truly like finding a needle in the haystack.

While we are often met with resistance due to the massive amounts of misinformation and disinformation, one thing remains clear…

If it doesn’t make sense for you, you will not be offered  the opportunity to participate. I have personally left many an appointment after learning something that would make this a bad business decision, or eliminates this an option for an owner. 

Getting to know so many people throughout the panhandle has been such a joy!
